QA Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Engineer, whose primary responsibilities include but are not limited to writing, executing and fixing test cases as per specifications and interacting with developers to report and resolve issues. In addition, the QA Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of white box and black box tests as well as development and automation of system tests, load tests and performance tests. Mandatory qualifications include a BE, B Tech, or MCA or equivalent, one to two years QA experience as well as experience in software testing exposure to software development/test methodologies and hands on experience in backend testing.
Candidates should have working experience with UNIX/Linux platform and testing experience on one or more of the following technologies/domain: Messaging, Networking protocols, Web Services, HTTP, SOAP.

QA Manager

We’re looking for a QA Manager, whose primary responsibilities include but are not limited to understanding requirements and writing test specifications, planning the testing, in conjunction with development, perform hands on testing, if needed and PM and release management.  In addition, the QA Manager’s responsibilities include estimation, allocation, and tracking while resolving any technical and team related issues, as well as interfacing with other groups.

Mandatory qualifications include a BE, B Tech, or MCA or equivalent and ten years QA experience.  In addition, candidates should have minimum of five years hands on experience in a testing organization with managing and leading a team through a complete product life cycle.  Candidates should also have working exposure to testing network devices (such as routers, switches), networking protocols and HTTP, familiarity with messaging and middleware technologies and an ability and passion to learn new technologies quickly.

Java /JNI Programmer

We are looking for a Java/JNI Programmer who has at least two to three years of strong programming experience in Java, one to two years C programming experience on a Linux/Unix platform and good knowledge of JNI programming.  Minimum education of a BE/B Tech or equivalent from a premier institute required.

Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a candidate with strong technical and development skills who can build customer solutions, use cases, and reusable product components; provide pre-sales technical assistance; answer RFP and field questions regarding Sonoa products.

The responsibilities will be that of a senior developer or solutions architect, who given a use case or scenario, can take up the responsibility of building the various modules or artifacts and developing the solution end-to-end.  The candidate may also be involved in consulting roles for specific customer engagements.  Mandatory qualifications include a Bachelors or Masters Degree and three to five years engineering experience with a good understanding of Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, Web Services, and Open Source tools (Apache Tomcat, MySQL, Linux, PHP). Candidates should have experience in writing and interpreting use case and product customizations.

Web Console Developer

We are looking for a candidate with a BE or B Tech from a premier institute with two to five years web development experience. At least two to three years experience must include strong programming knowledge in Java (J2SE). Candidates should also have in-depth knowledge and development experience in MVC Web UI frameworks and related technologies including Struts, WebWorks, Tapestry, JFaces, JSP, Servlets, Tag libraries , XSLT, HTML, DTML, CSS, JavaScript, as well as development experience in consuming SOAP/XML web services (AXIS, JAX/RPC, WSIF, SAAJ,etc) and working knowledge of XML parsing APIs (DOM/SAX/StAX etc). Familiarity with AJAX frameworks is a plus.

Technical Writer

We’re looking for a Technical Writers/Sr.Technical Writers, whose primary responsibilities include but are not limited to work with the product team to define the requirements and deliverables for a component/module, perform all background research and appreciate the value of a good document plan, develop documents that are logically structured and anticipate the needs of your audience, deliver quality documents without the aid of an editor, integrate with a strong documentation team that works together, shares a common vision, and shows a high level of commitment to quality and deadlines.

Mandatory qualifications include Graduation or Post Graduation; prefer Engineering or Science    degrees with minimum 3years experience in technical writing.Experience writing documentation for industry-specific and internet-based technologies, Web and application servers, or integration/middleware technologies, experience is highly desirable. Candidate should have thorough understanding of document and software development life cycles, as well as iterative and agile project management and software development methodologies.Should be proficient with accepted industry-specific publishing tools, such as, Word, FrameMaker, FrameScript, IXGen, WebWorks, JavaHelp, HTML, Dreamweaver, XML, Adobe Acrobat, and graphics package such as Photoshop, Paint Shop-Pro, Snag it and so on
